Hartford Youth Sport Collaborative

The Hartford Youth Sport Collaborative (HYSC)  is a collective of Hartford based youth-serving sport organizations who have come together to improve the quality and accessibility of organized sports and recreations programs across the city. We hope to build collaborations and partnerships that will have a city-wide impact in advancing and sustaining the sport-based youth development landscape in Hartford.

The HYSC consists of organizations that have been committed to providing Hartford youth with quality sport programing for many years. Run a Spring Program

This is an open call for Hartford youth serving sport organizations that are interested in teaming up with Active City and the Hartford Youth Sport Collaborative (HYSC) to run free city-wide youth recreation programs for Hartford youth this Spring.

If you are interested please submit a proposal (RFP link) and reach out to [email protected] Please submit proposals by March 17th, 2023.

Terminaya FitnessBasketball Fitness

Terminaya Fitness’s mission is to provide sports conditioning programs for middle-school and high-school basketball players that will enhance their physical fitness and athletic performance on the court.  This program will allow athletes to go through a series of drills that are used to develop their physical ability of strength, speed, footwork, quickness in change of direction and explosive movements.

COBA is a comprehensive youth development program committed to nurturing inner-city Boys & Girls, ages 10 - 17, into "Champions of Life" by teaching them Olympic Amateur Boxing. No experience is necessary, and sparring / competition is not required to experience all of the "Wrap Around Services" that the Academy has to offer!!! (Skill Level: Beginner to Olympian)
